Naas to include Newbridge and Kildare\u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>SouthEastern Commuter - Dublin Commuter Zone will increase from former SHZ limit of Kilcoole to include Wicklow and Rathdrum\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>What does this mean for fares?\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Fares for many journeys will change from Monday 28th April. Full details are available at the \u003Ca href=\"https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/rail-fares-and-tickets/fares-info\" data-new-window=\"true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iarnród Éireann website\u003C/a>. &nbsp;However, in summary, the following changes will apply, \u003Cstrong>across Adult, Young Adult/Student and Child Fares\u003C/strong>:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n  \u003Cli>Single (ePurse and Cash) and day return (Cash only) fares for journeys starting or ending in Dublin Commuter Zone 3 and 4 will be \u003Cstrong>reduced\u003C/strong>, as will Monthly and Annual ticket prices for Zone 3 and 4 upon next renewal.\n    \u003Cul>\n      \u003Cli>Reduced fares to/from Drogheda, Laytown, Enfield, Newbridge, Kildare, Wicklow and Rathdrum\u003C/li>\n    \u003C/ul>\n  \u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>Single (ePurse and Cash) and day return (Cash only) fares for journeys starting or ending in Dublin Commuter Zone 2 will be see a \u003Cstrong>mixture of increases and reductions\u003C/strong>, as will Monthly and Annual ticket prices for Zone 2 upon next renewal.\n    \u003Cul>\n      \u003Cli>Increases between Dublin and: Balbriggan, Skerries, Kilcock, Sallins &amp; Naas, Greystones and Kilcoole, as well as some other intermediate journeys\u003C/li>\n      \u003Cli>Reductions between Dublin and Gormanston\u003C/li>\n    \u003C/ul>\n  \u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>Single (ePurse and Cash) and day return (Cash only) fares for \u003Cstrong>all\u003C/strong> journeys within Dublin City Zone 1 will be unchanged, as will Monthly and Annual ticket prices\u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>The daily and weekly Leap Cap applies to the Dublin City Zone only.\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cem>Higher Maximum Leap Epurse maximum fare\u003C/em>\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Because the Dublin Commuter Zone is now far larger, the maximum ePurse fare at tag-on will be higher for all ePurse users, including Adults, Students and Children.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The maximum tag-on fares will increase as follows:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n  \u003Cli>Adult ePurse maximum tag-on will increase from €4 to €7.50\u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>Student / Young Adult maximum tag-on will increase from €2 to €3.75\u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>Child maximum tag-on will increase from 65c to €3.75\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Cp>As a result, \u003Cstrong>all LeapCard ePurse customers are reminded to tag-off at the end of your journey&nbsp;\u003C/strong>to ensure you are charged the correct fare. &nbsp;Please note this includes both \u003Cstrong>Dublin and Cork LeapCard ePurse customers:&nbsp;\u003C/strong>while Cork area fares are unchanged, the Leap ePurse touch-on maximum fare will increase, so touching off is important.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cem>Intercity Luas Add On cost reducing to Zero\u003C/em>\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>The Intercity Luas Add on for cross-city journeys (e.g: arriving to Heuston, and continuing to Luas city centre stops) for both single journeys and monthly / annual tickets will reduce to zero. &nbsp;The add-on cost is currently €1.40 single, €32 monthly or €320 annual. &nbsp;However \u003Cstrong>Intercity customers should continue to choose the correct final destination to ensure your ticket is valid&nbsp;\u003C/strong>(e.g. Cork to Connolly, Portlaoise to Connolly etc)\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>&nbsp;\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cem>Minimum Balance on LeapCard ePurse\u003C/em>\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>For Adult fares, the minimum balance on &nbsp;LeapCard ePurse will now be €1 for Dublin City Zone journeys, and €2.50 for Dublin Commuter Zone 2, 3 and 4 journeys.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>For Young Adults and Children, the minimum balance on LeapCard ePurse is 1 cent.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>\u003Cstrong>\u003Cem>Other Ticket types discontinued\u003C/em>\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>A number of ticket types are being discontinued from Monday 28th April:\u003C/p>\n\u003Cul>\n  \u003Cli>Adult and Student and Child Weekly and Monthly Tickets\u003C/li>\n  \u003Cli>Off Peak fares from Drogheda, Laytown, Gormanston, Newbridge and Kildare\u003C/li>\n\u003C/ul>\n\u003Cp>Full details on fares for your journey are available at the \u003Ca href=\"https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/rail-fares-and-tickets/fares-info\" data-new-window=\"true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iarnród Éireann website\u003C/a>.&nbsp; Customers with queries can submit queries to \u003Ca href=\"https://www.transportforireland.ie/support/send-a-message/\">Send a message to our Customer Service Team - Transport for Ireland\u003C/a>.\u003C/p>",{"items":134},[],{"label":70,"totalCount":85,"items":136},[137,138],{"label":92,"slug":89,"title":92,"description":93,"imageUrl":90},{"label":103,"slug":101,"title":103,"description":104,"imageUrl":90},1777457771483]
