Important Notice

We would like to advise you of a current technical issue affecting Bus Éireann & Go Ahead Dublin Commuter validators which impacts the use of Taxsaver monthly and annual multi-modal tickets.

Due to a software issue, these tickets cannot be read by the on-board validators on Bus Éireann & Go Ahead Dublin Commuter services at this time. However, customers may continue to use their Taxsaver tickets for travel on Bus Éireann & Go Ahead Dublin Commuter services by presenting their Leap card Taxsaver ticket as a flash pass until further notice.

We would like to reassure customers who hold valid monthly or annual Taxsaver multimodal tickets that:

• Their ticket will be valid for travel on the applicable Bus Éireann & Go Ahead Dublin Commuter services.
• When boarding a Bus Éireann/Go Ahead service, they should present their ticket as a flash pass to the driver and advise the driver that they hold a multi-modal Taxsaver ticket on the card. 
• Tag-on and tag-off as normal remains in place on Rail, Dublin City Bus, and Luas services, where no issues have been reported.

We are working with Bus Éireann and the National Transport Authority to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will provide further updates once the system has been restored.
