On 26 January 2025, the National Transport Authority introduced Phase 6a of its Bus Connects Network Redesign.
As a result of these changes, Route 145 has been removed from service. From 26 January, Iarnród Eireann Taxsaver customer using the feeder service can take Route 4 from Heuston Station to Mount Street.
